This is is a walking tour that crosses the landscape of the calanques described by Carlo Levi in the book“ Christ stopped at Eboli ”.

The badlands are suggestive roamy reliefs, furrowed by water and almost completely devoid of vegetation that alternate with cultivated fields. Between the silence and the blinding white of the clays you can see the flight of birds of prey and enjoy a beautiful and wild landscape. It is possible to organize this activity in the Parco dei Calanchi di Montalbano, or near Pisticci or near Craco Vecchia.
